Palace Casino Casa Vernescu is dedicated to offering its players as much variety as possible when it comes to betting options. That’s why we offer players the chance to play more versions of this popular casino card game; Palace Poker, Texas Poker and Stud Poker.

Palace Poker

THE PLAYERS CAN PLAY MAXIMUM 4 BOXES.

Place the Ante and Bonus bet before the cards are dealt or just place the Bonus bet for you or for the dealer’s combination.

The minimum for the dealer’s qualification is Ace/King.

You have the option to bet Bonus on dealer’s hand. Dealer needs to qualify with 2 pairs or more in order to win Bonus bet. There is no limit of players for this bet.

You have the option to play only the Bonus bet on one or all free betting boxes. If you receive minimum 2 pairs or more, this Bonus bet is a winner.

Change or buy up to 5 cards for the equivalent of the bet placed on “Ante”. By changing or buying a card you give up the Bonus bet. For each player, the cards are changed sequentially. The final bet is the equivalent of 2 times “Ante”.

If you bet after you change cards or you buy the 6th card you will be paid as follows: the “ANTE” bet is returned, but if the dealer qualifies, the “BET” is paid depending on the combination achieved by you.

If you buy the 6th card, any set of 5 cards can be used to form a combination. If you form 2 different combinations from the 5 or 6 cards, then both combinations will be paid only if the best first combination composed of 5 cards is higher than the dealer’s combination.

By different combinations is understood the fact that there must be at least 1 card in the combinations of 2, 3, 4 or 5 cards that is not used in the other combination. No more than 2 combinations can be paid in a single hand.

The possible combinations which may appear in a winning hand are available on the table’s limits display, section “POSSIBLE COMBINATIONS”.

If you have a combination of minimum 3 of a kind, you can bet “Insurance” against a dealer’s hand without qualification. The insurance can be any amount between the table minimum and the maximum possible payment of the respective hand.

For the boxes which were insured, the insurance will be paid 1:1 only if the dealer does not qualify; in case the dealer’s combination is equal to the player’s combination, this bet is returned. If the dealer has a higher formation, this bet is returned to the player. If the dealer qualifies and has a formation lower than the player’s, this bet is losing.

If the dealer doesn’t qualify, you can opt to be paid the equivalent of the initial bet (ante) or you can change the card with the highest value in the dealer’s combination by placing the value of the “Ante” bet.

If you wish to play 2 boxes open, the Ante bet must be equal on both boxes.

You can play more than 2 boxes, but the 3rd and 4th must be played blind, meaning you place the ante, the bet and the bonus before the cards are dealt. The blind bet boxes can also be insured.

Texas Poker

Texas poker could be considered the most “fashionable” version of poker currently. It is the most popular version of poker currently played in casinos worldwide. Additionally, it is the version of poker that is currently played in world poker series tournaments along with any other poker games shown on TV. This adds to the game’s overall worldwide popularity.

Texas Poker features heads-up play against the dealer and two optional bonus bets. Some crucial tips to give you an advantage are:

  • The earlier you bet, the more you can bet.
  • You don’t have to fold until you see all community cards.
  • The “PLUS” optional bet pays if your final five-card hand is a 3-of-a-kind or better.
  • You have the chance of another optional bet: “Carre”, 4-of–a-kind out of Player’s and Dealer’s cards.

Make equal bets in the Ante and “BONUS” circles. You may also make the optional “PLUS” or/ and “CARRE” bonus bets. You will then receive two cards and at this point you can either check or bet 3X or 4X your Ante. The dealer then reveals the three-card flop. If you haven’t already played on “BET”, you have a choice: check or bet 2X your Ante.

The dealer then reveals the final two community cards (the river). If you haven’t already played on “BET” you have a choice: fold or bet 1X your Ante.

The dealer then reveals his two hole cards and announces his hand. If your hand beats the dealer’s, your “BET” and Ante bets win even money. If the dealer’s hand beats yours, your “BET”, Ante and “BONUS” wagers lose. If you tie, those bets push.

The “BONUS” pays if your hand beats the dealer’s and is at least a Straight. If you beat the dealer with less than a Straight, it pushes.

All payout odds are printed on the layout.

The dealer needs a pair to qualify. When the dealer doesn’t qualify, he returns your Ante. All other bets receive action.

Stud Poker

5 card Stud Poker plays slightly differently but the rules are quite similar.
You play only against the dealer’s hand, not against other players. Each players goal is to win the pot which contains all the other players bets. Each player places an Ante bet (with an optional Bonus bet) and receives 5 cards, dealt face-down, from a standard 52-card deck. The dealer receives 4 cards face-down and one card face-up.

After examining your hand, you may decide either to play on by betting an amount equal to double your Ante bet or you can change ‘One Card’ for the equivalent of your Ante Bet or you can change ‘More Cards’ for the equivalent of your double Ante Bet for each of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th card, the 5th card is for free (forfeiting any Bonus Bet).

For each player cards will be changed simultaneously and not sequentially.
The final bet is equivalent to twice the Ante.

To qualify the dealer must have an Ace and a King or better. On qualifying the dealer will compare each player’s hand against his or her own, the better Poker hand winning. If the dealer does not qualify, then only Ante bets are paid even money and the winning Bonus optional bets.
